My entry for ~handstands-for-you's adoptable #9, the light buckskin. She's so beautiful and I really liked how this came out-5 hours laters after starting. o.O

Story: Skyleina roamed through the tall grass searching for her foal. Her poor baby was lost to her when they were attacked by a cougar two days earlier. It was a quick fight, she was not injured, but she feared for her little one. The cougar pounced on him first and had him by the leg before she managed to charge the monster. She fought him off and chased him far away but when she returned her little Qwuayo () was no where to be found. She set off in a mad frenzy to search for him. Following his scent she followed it to a grove of trees where a stallions scent became mixed in with her sons. She became worried. She knew stallions were known to kill foals that were not their own. The worry mark in her brow grew deeper and her heart quickened. Will she ever be reunited with her son?

So, *dun dun dun* Skyleina is Qwuayo's mummy if we a lucky enough to get her. If not, he'll stay an orphan-I loooooove how it works out. Since he is new to the heard and all, *squeal* it's just too cute a match and goes great with the story. But we shall see.

I will be moving (cross country so its like a 4 day drive) on the 25th which is when this contest is due. :sad: So I wont get to know the results until we get to a hotel and I check it.
